He is the founder of Dr. Vaidya’s, India’s largest Ayurveda brand and the lead venture investing for Verlinvest in India. Besides, he mentors brands in India’s startup ecosystem. A Brown University graduate, who joined L Catterton, a consumer sector focused growth private equity fund, and spent time understanding and investing in the Indian consumer story. In 2016, he quit his job to take on his family’s Ayurveda legacy. His brand was acquired by the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group in 2019, making it one of India's first D2C exits.


Trisha Rajani Vaidya

Co-founder - Dr. Vaidya’s, D2C Angel & Advisor


She is the Co-founder of Dr. Vaidya’s, D2C Angel & Advisor. A Warwick University graduate, Trisha’s entrepreneurial stint started at Goldman Sachs in London, where she was in the top quartile. In July 2014, Trisha moved back to India and joined Nykaa as part of the core team. She joined Dr. Vaidya’s in 2017 and exited the business to RP Sanjiv Goenka Group in 2021. Presently, she is an active angel investor and mentors 40+ companies across consumer brands, consumer internet and enablement to e-commerce.
